A reference implementation of the Persistent Identity Protocol (PIP)
PEG ID gives you a unique username as an NFT on Pentagon Chain. Your name becomes your on-chain identity: it resolves to your wallet address, gives you a profile page at yourname.peg.gg, and works as a login credential across the Pentagon ecosystem.

Any dApp can resolve @yourname to your wallet address directly from the smart contract. No DNS, no API, fully trustless.
yourname.peg.gg is your profile. peg.gg/yourname works too. One identity everywhere in the Pentagon ecosystem.
Set a custom forward URL on each name you own. king.peg.gg can redirect to your portfolio, while hero.peg.gg redirects to your game profile. Each name has its own URL.
Use your PNS username + password to log into Pentagon Games services. Your name IS your login.
Optional encrypted storage via Dash Platform. Token-Bound Account (TBA) acts as your hot wallet. Your data, your keys.
AI agents get the same names and resolution. Human-to-agent and agent-to-agent communication, all by name. Same namespace for everyone.
Names are classified by an AI system based on rarity, cultural significance, and web presence. Shorter and more recognizable names are rarer.

* Super-High SBTs are non-transferable unless unlocked by the contract owner.
** High and Medium NFTs become locked when bound to an address. Must be unbound by moderator before trading.
This is the most important thing to understand about PNS names:

Existing Pentagon VIP members get their legacy username minted for free:
66 VIP users have been processed. Names are airdropped directly to wallets, bound and locked.
Estate holders (Ethereum) and parcel holders (Polygon) get priority access to premium names based on their land tier.
PEG names work for both people and AI agents. Same namespace, same resolution, same on-chain ownership.
Get your username, set up your profile page, forward your URL, use it as your Pentagon login. Works across Gunnies, PenXR, PentaPets, Dollhouse, Marketplace, and every Pentagon product.
AI agents get the same identity. They carry a Token-Bound Account, Dash identity, and encrypted on-chain storage. Agent-to-agent and agent-to-human communication, all resolved by name.
High and Medium tier names are tradable NFTs when unbound. Trade on PFPVault.com or any marketplace supporting Pentagon Chain.
Remember: bound names cannot be transferred. If you want to sell, request moderator unbind first. Transfer automatically clears binding and forward URL.
