Super-High (SBT) names are subject to override by the contract owner at any time for reasons including but not limited to: intellectual property disputes, legal compliance, security concerns, policy enforcement, or any other reason deemed necessary by the contract owner.
If your Super-High name is renamed or revoked, a refund may be issued at the sole and absolute discretion of the contract owner. No refund amount, timeline, or mechanism is guaranteed. By minting, acquiring, or holding a Super-High name, you acknowledge, understand, and irrevocably accept this risk.
The name classification system uses artificial intelligence to assess name rarity and cultural significance. It does not provide legal, trademark, or intellectual property advice. Flagging a name as "premium," "cultural/IP match," or any other classification does not constitute a legal opinion or guarantee of any kind.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring their chosen name does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrights, or any other legal protections. Pentagon Games assumes no liability for any claims arising from your choice of name.
Name prices are set by an automated scoring system and cached at the time of first lookup. Pentagon Games reserves the right to adjust pricing formulas, tier thresholds, or scoring weights at any time. Historical prices are not binding on future transactions. Prices displayed are in PC (Pentagon Chain native token) and may vary in fiat value based on market conditions.
The PNS smart contract uses a UUPS (Universal Upgradeable Proxy Standard) pattern. While this allows for bug fixes, security patches, and feature additions, it also means the contract logic may change at any time at the discretion of the contract owner.
Users interact with the smart contract entirely at their own risk. Pentagon Games is not liable for any losses, damages, or adverse effects arising from smart contract bugs, exploits, upgrades, migrations, blockchain-level issues, consensus failures, or any other technical circumstance.
The name resolution service, profile pages (peg.gg/username), forwarding URLs (username.peg.gg), and the id.peg.gg web application depend on off-chain infrastructure that may experience downtime, degradation, or discontinuation.
Pentagon Games does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability of any off-chain service. On-chain data (name ownership, address binding) persists on Pentagon Chain independently of off-chain services.
Digital assets, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), soulbound tokens (SBTs), and name registration services may be subject to evolving and potentially conflicting regulations in various jurisdictions worldwide. Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in their region.
Pentagon Games makes no representation that the services offered comply with the laws of any specific jurisdiction.
PNS may interact with or reference third-party services including but not limited to: Dash Platform, PFPVault.com, external wallet providers, blockchain explorers, and identity verification services. Pentagon Games is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or functionality of any third-party service.
Token-Bound Accounts and Dash Platform identities associated with name NFTs are provided on an "as-is" basis. Pentagon Games does not guarantee the security, availability, or persistence of data stored through these mechanisms. Users are responsible for their own key management and data backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pentagon Games, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Pentagon Name Service.
Pentagon Games reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
